Negai Japan is a proxy buying service that helps you purchase items from online stores and auctions in Japan. To use our service, register on our website, find the item you want, add it to your cart, and follow the instructions to complete your purchase. We take care of the rest, including shipping and customs procedures.
Visit our registration page, fill in the necessary details, and you can start shopping immediately after registration. Registration is free, and no payment is required until you purchase.
Yes, we ship worldwide using reliable carriers. Please check our shipping information page for more information.
Yes, some items are prohibited from international shipping, such as flammable items, plants, animals, meat, air guns, and items restricted by the CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora). Please check our prohibited items page for a complete list of prohibited items.
To use our services, members must be over 18 years old and accept our Terms and Conditions. You agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy by using our services.
The Wallet is your internal balance in your Negai Japan account. You can use it to pay for eligible orders, shipping, and other supported wallet operations within the platform.
It is the amount currently available to use. Top-up requests that are still under review are not included in your current wallet balance.

Before You Buy

Ensure you understand the list of prohibited items and our non-cancellation policy. Any campaign or pre-order bonuses are not guaranteed. Familiarize yourself with the store policies and the nature of the items you are buying, especially if they are used or "junk" items.
Each purchase involves two payments:

- Charge 1: Includes the item cost, domestic shipping within Japan (the shipping from the store to our warehouse), the payment platform fee, and Negai Japan's service fee.

- Charge 2: Covers international shipping, packaging material costs (which involves items such as cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and so on), the payment platform fee, and any additional service fees if requested.

Example of service fee:

- Product: 5,000 yen

- Domestic Shipping: 500 yen

- Service fee: 240 yen

- Payment platform fee: 100 yen

- Total Charge 1: 5,840 yen

After the item arrives at our warehouse:

- International shipping: 2,000 yen

- Packaging material: 400 yen

- Total Charge 2: 2,400 yen
Cancellation is strictly forbidden once your order has been purchased.

Cancellation is only accepted before the customer has made the first payment.

By using Negai Japan's services, you agree to the website's terms of use. In the event of an attempt to circumvent these terms of sale through an unjustified dispute with payment services or banking institutions, we reserve the right to pursue legal proceedings in the country of residence of the party involved.
Generally, returns or exchanges are not allowed after an order is placed. For specific issues, please contact our customer service for assistance.
Yes, we process orders for products that will be released in the future. Send the product link and make the payment so we can proceed with the reservation. Note that some pre-sale products have quantity and reservation period limitations.
Although we check purchase orders to make sure that the products ordered are prohibited in the country of destination, different countries have different rules and there is a risk of something slipping through our validation.

It is, therefore, the customer's responsibility to check whether the product they want is on the list of prohibited items, and also the import rules of their own country, before ordering. There will be no refunds once the purchase has been made.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to make purchases from online auction stores, but we are working to make this option available as soon as possible.

Shipping and Delivery

When a product you have ordered arrives at our warehouse, it is available on the Hub page in your dashboard. From this page, you can choose your items that are with us to be shipped.

We will carefully pack your products, measure and weigh the box, and let you know that the package is ready for shipment. Your package will be available under the “Ready to ship” tab on the “Packages” screen of your dashboard.

When you choose which packages you want us to ship, we'll show you the shipping options along with the price of each one. Once you have chosen the shipping method and made the payment, we will send the package as quickly as possible.
A tracking number will be provided once your package is shipped. Use this number on the carrier's website or recommended tracking services to monitor your shipment.
You can change the shipping address as long as the package has not been shipped. Once shipped, the address cannot be altered and any errors may incur additional costs.
The time depends on the chosen shipping method. All methods have a tracking number. Access the shipping methods page for more information.
Yes, we combine items from different orders into one shipment to save on international shipping costs. Use our consolidation service to optimize your expenses.
Contact us immediately if your package is lost or damaged. We will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Please provide all necessary documentation and photos of the damage. Claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the package. Do not open a PayPal dispute without consulting us, as this may delay the resolution process.
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can contact the carrier if necessary. In most cases, we will need to wait for the package to be returned to Negai Japan's warehouse before starting the reshipment process and checking the reason for the return.

Warning: we can only forward your claim to the carrier if it is filed within 5 months of the original shipment date.
If your package is delayed, contact us and we will inquire with the carrier. Please do not open a dispute with PayPal without consulting us, as this can delay the resolution process.
Negai Japan cannot send packages marked as "Gift". We use the proxy service, where the invoice and shipping form need to highlight prices and contents for customs purposes.
Insurance depends on the shipping method. International ePacket Light does not include insurance. For shipments that need coverage, we recommend EMS. If you are unsure, contact us and we will suggest the best option based on your item value and destination.
Import taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and may be applied according to your country's regulations. We recommend checking with your local customs office for specific details. Negai Japan is not responsible for any taxes or customs fees incurred.
We offer several international shipping methods depending on your destination and package size/weight. Options typically include EMS and International ePacket Light. Availability and delivery times vary by country and current carrier conditions. You will see the available methods (with price and estimated delivery time) when your package is ready to ship. Access the shipping methods page for more information on delivery times and costs associated with each method.
International ePacket Light is an economy shipping option with tracking for small packages only. Limits are the same as Small Packet: up to 2 kg (max length 60 cm, total size 90 cm). Important: no insurance is provided for ePacket Light. If you need insurance, choose EMS.

Purchasing and Payments

Currently, Negai Japan accepts PayPal and also Wise for Wallet top-ups.

PayPal can be used for payments made directly through the platform.

Wise is used to add funds to your Wallet, which can then be used to pay for eligible orders, shipping, and other supported wallet operations within the platform.

Available payment methods may vary depending on the type of charge and the functionality available at that time.
You can buy items from various Japanese online stores and send the links through our platform. We will check that the product is available and complies with the regulations, and after confirmation and payment, we will take care of the purchase and shipment to your address. Payments are made in Japanese yen (JPY).

Depending on the charge and the payment options available on the platform, you may pay:

- directly with PayPal; or - using your Wallet balance, as long as it is enough to cover the full amount of the charge.

If you choose to add funds to your Wallet, the top-up is made via Wise in JPY.
If you pay with PayPal in a currency other than Japanese yen, PayPal may automatically convert the amount into JPY. Currency conversion fees and other charges may be applied by PayPal itself or by third parties involved in processing the payment.
Import duties or customs fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend checking with your local customs authority for details. Negai Japan is not responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes incurred.
Each purchase normally involves two payments:

- Charge 1: includes the item price, domestic shipping within Japan, Negai Japan’s service fee, and, when applicable, the payment method fee.

- Charge 2: covers international shipping, packing material costs, extra services when requested, and, when applicable, the payment method fee.

If the payment is made using the Wallet, PayPal system fees will not be applied to that charge.

All purchases, including pre-sale products, must be paid in advance. We do not accept installment payments.
Some tips to optimize your purchases and save money:

- Try to buy products from the same store to save on domestic shipping. - Utilize our free storage service (up to 45 days) to make multiple purchases and then request our free consolidation, saving on international shipping.
If an eligible refund is required, the refund destination will depend on the payment method used.

- If the payment was made using the Wallet and the relevant debit has already been recorded, the eligible amount will be returned to your Wallet through the transaction history.

- If the payment was made through PayPal or another external payment method made available by Negai Japan, the eligible refund will, as a general rule, be processed back to the same payment method originally used.

The refund timing may vary depending on the seller, the payment provider, the financial institution involved, and the applicable procedures.

The amount effectively received may also differ from the amount originally paid due to fees, bank charges, currency conversion, exchange rate fluctuations, or other deductions applied by third parties.
Your balance becomes available only after your top-up request is reviewed and approved. Once approved, the credited amount is added to your Wallet and recorded in your wallet transaction history.
You may see the following withdrawal statuses:

- Pending review: your request was received and is waiting for review. - Awaiting user info: we need additional information before continuing. - Approved and processing transfer: your request was approved and the transfer is being processed. - Completed: the transfer was completed. - Rejected: the request was rejected. - Cancelled by user: the request was cancelled by the user.
To withdraw funds, you submit a withdrawal request from your Wallet page. After submission, the requested amount is removed from your current wallet balance and the request goes under manual review.
No. If you pay with Wallet, PayPal system fees are not applied.
No. Wallet payments require the full amount to be covered. Split payment in the same charge is not available.
If your wallet balance is not enough to cover the full amount of the payment, the Wallet option cannot be used for that charge.
Yes. You can use your Wallet to pay for approved orders and shipping, as long as your wallet balance covers the full amount required for that payment.
You can add funds by submitting a wallet top-up request and sending the payment through Wise using the transfer details and reference provided by Negai Japan.
If a payment made using Wallet funds is cancelled, reversed, or otherwise becomes eligible for refund after the relevant Wallet debit has already been recorded, the eligible amount will be returned to the Wallet through the appropriate Wallet transaction in the ledger.
If the requested withdrawal amount is less than or equal to the applicable withdrawal fees and transfer costs, Negai Japan may reject the withdrawal request. In that case, no payout will be made, and the amount may not be returned to the Wallet to the extent consumed by those fees and costs.
If your withdrawal request is rejected or cancelled, the amount will normally be returned to your Wallet. However, if the requested amount is not enough to cover the applicable fees and costs, the amount may not be returned to the extent it has been consumed by those charges.
Not always. If the refund is processed through PayPal or another external payment method, the amount you effectively receive may differ from the amount originally paid due to fees, bank charges, transfer costs, currency conversion, exchange rate fluctuations, or other deductions applied by third parties.

If the refund is processed back to your Wallet for a Wallet-funded transaction, the eligible refunded amount will be recorded in your Wallet transaction history.

Storing your purchases

You will have a free storage period of up to 45 days for each package that arrives at our warehouse. If this period expires, you will be charged an additional daily fee for each item, which will be charged in 7-day periods. Please visit the Service Fees page for more information.
We cannot store items that exceed 30 kilograms (approximately 65 pounds) or that exceed the shipping limits of Japan Post. Please check our storage guidelines for detailed information.
